We are a Manchester based locations library resource and management service for the film, television and photographic industries. Our purpose is to offer a 'one stop shop' for directors and industry professionals needing to source production locations in the North of England and wider UK.
Along with our extensive film locations library we offer a raft of management services and our experience over twenty years has enabled us to build a large network of individuals and support services to cover the most demanding of contingencies. We are constantly adding new properties to our library and will periodically distribute a newsletter outlining the most recent additions to our subscribers.
Registering a Property
Film makers, advertisers and catalogue producers are constantly on the lookout for properties to suit their needs. If you would like your property to be included in our library you will need to complete our Registration Form, send us your photographs and a description of the property. Our team is busy so please be patient and read the FAQ section for tips on how to make the most of your properties listing and facilitate quick entry in our database.
As well as being the premier UK site for finding a filming location, Film Locations also have extensive experience in on site location management. Our experience working for all of the major production houses, TV channels and film makers means that we have a wealth of knowledge and practical experience when it comes to the day to day realities of running and handling a film shoot of all scales and we are well versed in performing recces, organising permissions, scouting and location logistics and liaison with various authorities - our experience in working with councils, the police and other public bodies means that we can run and manage the location of your movie, commercial or TV production.
We also offer additional services such as crew call contact details for experienced professionals throughout the North of England, many of whom we have extensive knowledge of working with. In addition to people, we also can supply, manage and control site services for your shoot, especially for larger productions, in terms of controlling tents and accommodation, aerial platforms, health and safety assessments, vehicular access and management of lighting and technical equipment rigs.
